Authorities Seek Disabled Man Missing Since April

CHICAGO (STMW) - Police are seeking the public's help in finding a missing South Side man who was last seen April 21.

Christopher Hannus, 40, was last seen on April 21, and he has been known to panhandle and loiter in the Bridgeport and Canaryville neighborhoods, according to a Missing Persons Alert from Wentworth Area detectives.

Hannus has no teeth and mild deformities to his right hand and right leg. He walks with a limp and has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old child, according to the alert.

Hannus is described as a white man who is 5-foot-6, 145 pounds, with green eyes, red hair and a light complexion, the alert said.

The man, of the 3700 block of South Wood Street, was reported missing by his aunt, police said.
