CHICAGO (CBS) — Two Chicago Police officers were hospitalized overnight, when their transport wagon hit another car in the Andersonville neighborhood.

The accident happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of West Foster Avenue, police said.

The transport wagon hit a car, police said. Further details were not immediately available.

The two officers in the wagon suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital for observation, Gaines said. The driver of the civilian car was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, also with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating the crash.
