Robbers On The Loose After Holding Up Vernon Hills Home Depot

VERNON HILLS, Ill. (CBS) — Two robbers are on the loose in Vernon Hills, after they held up a Home Depot in the northern suburb.

Around 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, two masked men entered the Home Depot in the Market Place Shopping Center, 493 N. Milwaukee Ave., with the intention of robbing the store, police said.

All the employees fled the store, and it is not known if the robbers took anything. But they got away.

The store was closed for part of the morning Tuesday, and police scoured the area for the robbers for several hours into the morning.

The robbers are only described as men – one of them 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, the other shorter. No further description has been released.

The robbers remained on the loose as of the latest report Tuesday.

If our Pro-Criminal state government was not violating our Second Amendment Rights, we would be reading about two former robbers instead.
