CHICAGO (CBS) — Here is the area storm report from the National Weather Service and reports from suburban officials.

ComEd Power Outages: 463,000 out system wide (As of 10 p.m.)

Four miles southwest of Midway Airport: Thunderstorm wind gust 75 mph, reported by observer.

Lyons: Thunderstorm wind gust 60 mph, reported by public. Tree damage.

Burbank: Thunderstorm wind damage. Power poles down on homes.

Aurora: City crews are responding to numerous calls of trees, limbs, branches, and power lines being down. There have been no reports so far of major damage and no injuries have been reported.

Hometown: Thunderstorm wind gust 65 mph.

Burbank: Thunderstorm wind damage. Wind gusts 70 mph. Trees and power lines down.

Arlington Heights: Thunderstorm wind gust 60 mph.

Evergreen Park: Thunderstorm wind gust 72 mph.

Evanston: Thunderstorm wind damage. Large tree limbs down in the streets.

Chicago: Thunderstorm wind gust 55.

Chicago: Thunderstorm wind damage. Three inch tree limbs down at intersection of W. Leland Ave and north Winchester Ave.

O’Hare Airport: Thunderstorm wind gust 63 mph.

Melrose Park: Thunderstorm wind gust 60 mph

Palos Hills: Thunderstorm wind damage. Tent down with possible injuries.

Brookfield: Trees down.

Midway Airport: Thunderstorm wind gust 75 mph.

Evanston: Thunderstorm wind damage. Large tree limbs down in the streets.

Arlington Heights: Thunderstorm wind gust 60 mph. Damage near Hintz Road and Windsor there are fences blown down and an 8 in diameter tree snapped.

Melrose Park: Thunderstorm wind gust 60 mph.

Burbank: Thunderstorm wind damage. Power poles down on homes.

Oak Park: Reports of trees down

Evergreen Park: Thunderstorm wind gust 72 mph.

N Hoffman Estates: Thunderstorm wind gust 60 mph. Intermittent power failures.

Oak Lawn: Branches down and a few trees damaged.

Northbrook: – Few trees down, 1400 without power, few traffic lights out

Orland Park: No major damage to report

Joliet: No fires, some without power, power lines down

Skokie: trees are down, power is out throughout the city

Crystal Lake: trees are down, and power is out. Police are still assessing damage

Carpentersville: minor damage, some trees are down. Power is fixed/up and running

Hinsdale: Trees are down, no power outages. Some trees have fallen on cars without people on them- no injuries.

Barrington: power is out. Most intersections have flashing red lights- Barrington Rd, 14 and Main, Hillside Drive. Traffic is backed up.

Palatine: trees down, power outages. Light is out at Rand and Dundee.

Bartlett: no power outages, some trees down. Lights are out at Forest Preserve and Minger, 59, and Poplar.

Streamwood: there are some power outages

Deerfield: There is traffic light damage, fallen tree branches, nothing significant.

Highland Park: Power outages, trees down

Buffalo Grove: Some branches are down on parked vehicles, some traffic lights are out. Police are fire are out assessing damages.

Schaumburg: Power outages and no injuries, branches down everywhere.

Downers Grove: Power outages

Des Plaines: Trees down, and power outages. No injuries reported

Wheaton: No injuries no flooding, numerous alarms due to power outage, three roads blocked by tree limbs. Public works crews are clearing those roadways.

Wilmette: Most of Wilmette is without power and no injuries reported. Trees down.

Glen Ellyn: No injuries, a lot of power outages and storm damage.

Carol Stream: No injuries reported and just a few trees down.

Waukegan: Trees down on Metra tracks. Power outages. Several trees down in yards.

    I work for one of the railroads, we got stuck for two hours due to a fallen tree over the tracks in Plainfield. Wild morning, storm came up fast. Good luck to all.
