Lived in Chicago all my life, never heard of the lower section of the Uptown neighborhood. Is the Buena Park section the lower section of Uptown now?

it’s sheridan park or lakeview, not uptown…this erroneous reporting gives uptown a bad rep.

It also may be their way of trying to tell us that armed robberies and the like are heading north on a steady basis. Which according to what I’ve been reading seems to be the trend. What I can’t figure out is why so many people are robbed, shot and assaulted at such time of the morning…how can folks be up so late on work days and what about all these 14-20 year olds getting shot at these hours? Do they sneak out of their homes without the parents even having an idea they’re missing? Seems awfully strange…even more so that the kids aren’t picked up on curfew violation.

Huh! Where in the hell do you live and where did you grow-up? Shootings, robberies, assaults and drug deals of all types happen on every corner in this damn city. People sell drugs in their offices, bars and their homes. The entire city is one big felony waiting to happen. And, when I was a teen everyone snuck out. How else were we suppose to learn about sex?
