Bank Of America Branch Robbed In Lakeview

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man robbed a Bank of America branch in the Lakeview neighborhood Tuesday morning.

The FBI said a man wearing an orange camouflage hunting cap walked into the Bank of America branch at 3215 N. Lincoln Av. just after 9 a.m. Tuesday, approached a teller and announced he was robbing the bank.

He threatened harm if the teller did not meet his demands for cash, according to the FBI. The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled the bank on foot.

The robber did not display a weapon during the robbery and no injuries were reported.

The robber is described as a white male, 50 to 60 years old, 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10, 200 pounds, with gray hair and a mustache. He was wearing a dark T-shirt and orange camouflage hunting cap.
