White Sox's Top Draft Pick Walker Injures Hand
(CBS) When Keenyn Walker revealed on Twitter that he was on his way to the emergency room, the fear was the White Sox's top 2011 draft pick had broken his hand.
Walker was hit by a pitch on his hand Monday night while playing for Single-A Kannapolis and he wrote on Twitter that he thought he had broken his hand. The outfielder also complained about the home plate umpire, who apparently ruled it a foul ball. Not surprisingly, that tweet later disappeared.
Fortunately, Walker followed up with another tweet that said doctors thought it was just bruise.
