Police Seek Help To Find Missing NW Side Girl

CHICAGO (CBS) — Police have issued an alert for a 14-year-old Near Northwest Side girl last seen more than a week ago.

Karla Cruz is reported missing from the 1800 block of North Kedvale, according to an alert from Grand Central Area Special Victims Unit detectives.

She was last seen Aug. 1, the alert said, and may be in the area of Karlov and Wabansia, possibly with an unknown female named Rosa. Cruz also frequents the area of Division to Fullerton, Central Park to Cicero.

Cruz is 5-foot-1 and 100 pounds, Hispanic, with an olive complexion, brown eyes and black hair, the alert said.
