***So now with Tuesday night's 5-4 loss to the Angels in Anaheim,the White Sox have fallen 6 1/2 games out of first place.The Detroit Tigers picked the wrong time for the Sox(and Indians)to get hot.Cleveland split a pair with Seattle,so the Tribe is 1/2 game ahead of the Sox for second place. Time is slowly running out. The White Sox next get newly signed Halos ace Jared Weaver Wednesday night.

***Starlin Castro was back in the Cub lineup against Atlanta,but Jason Heyward,who last year had a great debut against Carlos Zambrano, ripped a Grand Slam against Casey Coleman,then the Bravos held on.At least there was no controversy with Castro this time.

***It will be the last reasonably full week of practice for the Bears in this Pre Season as they will face the Tennessee Titans Saturday night in Nashville.Next week it will be a shorty as they come right back with a Thursday night home date with the Cleveland Browns.

***Great news in that Doug Buffone and Ed O'Bradovich are officially back on the Score with the best NFL Post Game show after each Bears game starting Sept 11 following the opener with Atlanta.
