Lillibridge Placed On DL With Broken Hand, Out For Season

(CBS) As manager Ozzie Guillen said after Thursday night’s win over the Indians, White Sox utility player Brent Lillibridge broke his hand after getting hit by a pitch and will miss the rest of the season.

The White Sox made it a formality Friday when they placed Lillibridge on the disabled list.

No corresponding move was announced, but the White Sox might not make one because their roster is already filled with September call-ups.
