SASKATOON, Saskatchewan (AP) – Josh Green scored a pair of goals and an Edmonton Oilers split squad defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2 in a preseason matchup Tuesday.

Ryan Smyth had a goal and an assist for Edmonton, while Jordan Eberle also scored. No. 1 overall draft pick Ryan Nugent-Hopkins added an assist.

Rostislav Olesz and Jamal Mayers scored for Chicago.

Edmonton’s other split-squad team lost 4-3 at home to the Minnesota Wild.
