Hanley: Who would you start a NFL team with?

Interesting poll in Sports Illustrated this
week. A survey of 272 National Football League players
were asked what player they would pick first if they were
building a team from scratch.

According
to SI, seven of the top 10 vote-getters and 10 of the top 15 play quarterback.
Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (4%) was the only defensive player to make
the top 10 in this poll.
The
results of the poll:
  1. Patriots
    quarterback Tom Brady (24%)
  2. Colts
    quarterback Peyton Manning (18%)
  3. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (14%)
  4. Vikings
    running back Adrian Peterson (7%)
  5. Eagles
    quarterback Michael Vick (6%)
The
poll was conducted before Manning underwent his most recent neck surgery.
We’ll talk about this and have
plenty of Bears-Packers preview Friday between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. Hope you can join Mully and me then.
As always, thanks for
listening.
