Three Men Wounded In Drive-By

CHICAGO (STMW) - Three men were wounded in a Tuesday afternoon shooting on the South Side.

The men, all in their late-teens, were shot about 3:25 p.m. in the 9200 block of South King Drive, said police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien, citing preliminary information.

Two men were shot in the back and the third was shot in the buttocks, O'Brien said.

One of the men shot in the back and the man shot in the buttocks were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. The second man shot in the back was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said. Conditions were not immediately available.

Preliminary police information indicated the shooting appears to have been a drive-by.

Calumet Area detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody Tuesday evening.
