Dead Man Found At Indiana Dunes

PORTER, Ind. (WBBM) - The body of a south suburban teenager was found yesterday on a beach in Indiana, miles from where he disappeared.
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says the body found at the Central Beach in the Dunes National Lakeshore is that of a kayaker who disappeared on October 15th off New Buffalo, Michigan.

Mitchell Fajman, 18, of Channahon, had been kayaking in ten foot waves with two friends.
They were wearing life jackets, wetsuits and helmets.
All three capsized in the heavy waves, inside the break wall.
Firefighters were able to rescue Fajman's friends... but they couldn't get to him before he slipped out of his life jacket and went under.
