Police Report Slaying In Austin
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man was found inside a vacant building suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his entire body in the Austin neighborhood Saturday at noon. Police say he was dead on the scene.
About noon police received a call from paramedics who were first on the scene inside a vacant multi-unit building in the 300 block of North Pine Ave., according to police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez.
The victim, man in his 30s, was found inside, suffering from gunshot wounds throughout his body. He was pronounced dead on the scene, said Perez.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office could not confirm that as of 1:15 pm.
Grand Central Area detectives are investigating.
