Report: Martz Has Interest In Arizona State Job

(CBS) Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz has interest in the recently vacated Arizona State head coaching job, according to the Arizona Republic’s Doug Haller.

Haller tweeted the news Tuesday, a day after Arizona State fired head coach Dennis Erickson.

Martz was previously an assistant coach at Arizona State from 1983 to 1991. His contract with the Bears expires at the end of the season.

    Take it!. Leave! Go!!!!!!!

Martz….please take the job. You are way to smart to stay in your current position. Maybe then the Bears can get someone that is not dumb enough to be pass happy with a guy that is starting his first NFL game! The Bears loss is squarely on your shoulders!

Y’ know…Bears fans never fail to demonstrate their stupidity..I am ashamed to admit that I am one of them…Are never happy about any success, always looking for something to complain about…someone to one to praise….Want to run Forte 30 times against the Raiders??? he would have gained 60 yards, and we would. have had to punt 20 times… Im glad he let Hanie see what he would be up against….We are going to need Hanie to throw if we are gonna stay in playoff contention…Hell, any number of stupid Bear fans can hand off to Forte 30 times…Let Hanie get ready for crying out loud!!.

  • Philip

I’ll gladly give them my recommendation!

  • Go!

GO! After the fool called a screen pass on the 6 yard line with Hanie that was intercepted and pretty much cost the Bears the game, the doors open!
