Toews Named NHL’s Second Star Of The Month

(CBS) Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews was named the NHL’s second star for the month of November, the league announced Thursday.

The center tallied 18 points (nine goals, nine assists) in November with five multiple-point games and three game-winning goals.

Boston Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas earned first star honors, while Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul earned third star honors.
