Real Estate Showing Leads To Discovery Of 2 Bodies

SAUK VILLAGE, Ill. (CBS) -- A property owner and a prospective buyer were shocked by a discovery they made Tuesday night during a showing in the south suburbs.

As WBBM Newsradio's Bernie Tafoya reports, the showing was at a vacant house at 22642 Brookwood Dr. in Sauk Village around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday. The homeowner was showing the house to a potential buyer, when they discovered the bodies of two young men.

A source says the victims, ages 18 and 19, had been shot multiple times. The Chicago Tribune reports the bodies appeared to have been there for at least a day.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office says tentative identifications of the victims have been made, but their families have not been notified.

Sauk Village police expect to put out a news release later Wednesday on the apparent murders.
