Singer R. Kelly's Olympia Fields Home On Market For $1.6 Million

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago-born singer R-Kelly's suburban home is on the market following a foreclosure suit this summer.

The mansion is being sold in a short sale for $1.6 million in Olympia Fields. That means Kelly owes more on the home than it's actually worth.

According to previously published reports in Crain's, Kelly has not made a monthly mortgage payment since June 2010 on the mansion, located on Maros Lane.

Thus, J.P. Morgan Chase Bank N.A. filed a foreclosure complaint in the Chancery Division of Cook County Circuit Court earlier this year, Crain's reported.

The house and its gated estate were constructed for Kelly 11 years ago. The house is 22,000 square feet, and features eight bathrooms, four fireplaces, an indoor pool, sauna, theater room and a four-car garage.
