LOCKPORT, Ill. (CBS) — A young man from Lockport is facing child pornography charges, after recording an underage girl on a hidden camera he set up in a bathroom.

Lucas C. Goldsmith, 20, was arrested Friday and charged with one count of producing child pornography.

Lockport police Lt. Dave Draksler declined to say how Goldsmith knew the victim, an underage girl, but said she is not a family member. The exact age of the victim was not disclosed.

A relative of the girl found the recorded video on a media player in his house on Nov. 22, and notified police on Dec. 11, Draksler said.

Goldsmith, of the 400 block of South State Street in Lockport, was questioned Friday and allegedly admitted to videotaping the girl before he was charged and booked into the county jail.
