2 Dead, 4 Critically Hurt In Little Village Rollover

CHICAGO (STMW) - Two men are dead and four others were critically injured early Saturday after a rollover accident in the Southwest Side Little Village neighborhood.

Crews responded about 3:35 a.m. to a pin-in rollover accident at Archer and Western avenues, according to Fire Media Affairs. An EMS Plan 1, which sends at least five ambulances to the scene, was called.

The accident involved two vehicles, one of them a Chevrolet Suburban, Fire Media Affairs said.

A 19-year-old man and a man, believed to be 19-to-20-years-old, are dead but their names are not being released pending family notification, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

The other men were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Advocate Illinois Medical Center in critical condition.

The accident was so violent, trees were knocked over near the roadway, Fire Media Affairs said.

The EMS Plan 1 was secured as of about 4 a.m.
