ITASCA, Ill. (CBS) – A police chase that started in northwest suburban Carpentersville on Tuesday ended more than 20 miles away in Itasca when police shot the suspect.

Police said the chase began when officers tried to arrest a suspect in a drug case in Carpentersville around 1 p.m. The officers were working an undercover case and met at a McDonald’s to buy drugs from suspected drug dealers.

One of the suspects fled the scene in a car and rammed a police car twice before taking off.

Officers exchanged gunfire with the suspect during the chase and the suspect was shot in the head. His condition was not immediately available.

Police also said three officers suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Why are the real drug pushers… the guys that push the most and the worse of the drugs given a pass?

We call these drug pushers doctors but that does not change what they are.

Why do people tolerate these blatantly unconstitutional , racists drug laws? Are you really that dumbed down?

Think about this, good people such as myself will carry to protect our families and self regardless, so why wouldn’t the government want to insure that such good people are trained in the proper way to do so and issue carry permits? The good people with common sense are carrying anyways because we know the bad guys are, we’re not stupid. Well some of us.

The only reason Illinois doesn’t have a conceal carry is because our Governor is to stupid to figure out a way to line his pocket from passing the law that the majority support

There should be no concealed carry law anywhere Afro. Defending oneself is a God given Inalienable right. This would be like getting a government permit permit to hug your kids or to have sex with your wife.

Alaska. Vermont, Arizona, and Wyoming all have no permit system to the best of my knowledge. You just carry – just like you just hug your kids.

@inalien

I do agree but I see no harm in helping others learn to effectively defend their self some people have no firearm education or background to help them learn the basics and gain some confidence should they ever need to produce their mode of defense.

i live right across formt he McDonalds that the drug deal gone bad was at. First off the CPD is under investigation by the state of illinois now because the cop fired his gun first, and the one thing that really boiled my blood was that it was right in front of the elementary school that my son use to go to. the news was saying it was a middle school, it’s lakewood elementary.

Why in Gods name do our hired thugs and the state legislature think it OK to murder people that put things into their bodies without their owners permission? And yes these psychopaths think they are our owners and not our servants.

As Ron Paul noted: With the effect of this war on black people I think if a racists eugenics program to totally enslave the black race.

Are we free or are we slaves?
