Biggs: No Problem With Forte Playing In Pro Bowl

(WSCR) After he was cleared by the Bears to play in the Pro Bowl, running back Matt Forte is all set to make his first Pro Bowl appearance.

Though he missed the last four games of the 2012 season with a knee injury, one Bears expert has no issue with Forte playing in Hawaii.

"I think it's a situation where he is probably 100 percent," Brad Biggs of the National Football Post and Chicago Tribune told The Mully and Hanley Show. "I don't think the Bears would've cleared him on a physical if they didn't feel like he could go out and play football as safely as you could possibly play football. ... If the Bears didn't want him to play in this game, (they would have said,) 'Hey, you know what, there is a risk here. Why expose our star running back to this risk?' Then they'd fail him on the physical. For the Bears to pass him, that tells me there's no issue with this previous MCL injury as he goes into this game."
