Kane Crowned 'Breakaway' Champ During NHL All-Star Competition
OTTAWA, Ontario, Canada (CBS) -- Patrick Kane stole the show at the "Breakaway Challenge" Saturday at the NHL All Star Game skills competition.
Teammate Marian Hossa helped Kane get into character with a superhero cape and Clark Kent glasses.
Then "Super-Kane" was off and went "flying" on the ice – dropping to the slick surface to hook in a goal. On his next try, Kane's incredible "super" strength allowed him to shatter a puck.
"Super-Kane" was voted the winner by fans.
Both Hossa and Kane are playing for "Team Chara" -- for team captain Zdeno Chara -- under a fantasy draft conducted Thursday.
The other All-Star team is led by Ottawa captain Daniel Alfredsson. The two teams play Sunday.
