Don't Miss This

(CBS) Dwight Howard previously left the Bulls off his list of teams he would like to join, but now the All-Star center isn’t ruling out a trade to Chicago.

The Chicago Tribune reports that Howard would be open to playing with Derrick Rose, despite speculation that he didn’t want to share the spotlight with the reigning MVP.

“If I could play with Derrick right now and God wanted that to happen, it will happen,” Howard told the Tribune. “It has nothing to do with me not wanting to play with Derrick Rose. I love him. That’s my brother.”

Howard also disputed that Adidas — a sponsor he and Rose share — would prevent the two from pairing up.

Please for the love of God bring Howard to the Bulls! Send Boozer and Noah packing but don’t get rid of Deng. Sorry Noah but you’re going to have to be in the package. Boozer, good riddance.

I forgot to mention that some draft picks will also have to go to Orlando. Just get this done!

This is a no-brainer! Bulls management don’t be afraid to rock the boat. Noah is just “ok” and Boozer is past his prime. Howard is a top 10 talent that you pair with D-Rose and don’t miss a beat with, you raise the bar and the Heat don’t have an answer for Howard!

If I were Gar Forman, I would all that I can to get this deal done. I could definitely parth with Noah, he’s good, but not good enough to pass up on a D howard. As for Boozer, I don’t see the market for him being good. The Bulls may have to keep him even if they don’t want to. There will be some draft picks going to Orlando to, but it would be well worth it to surround D-Rose with Deng, Hamilton and Dwight Howard.

OK again people be intelligent with your comments. This will not happen now. The trade would have needed to been Deng, Noah, taj, Picks. With Deng’s wrist they won’t trade for him now. Boozer won’t be traded as much as people want it. No one wants the contract much the way we don’t want it. I would love for it to happen but it won’t.

  • Timothy James Ryan

Anthony, you might be right, but it’ll depend on what the other teams are willing to give up, compared to the Bulls. Noah, Taj, and picks may be enough to get it done.

  • Curt Motisi

I think you pretty much trade them whoever they want and/or draft picks. Even if he does not resign, you would have just an insane amopunt of cap room, and could instantly rebuild. orlando will probably not want Boozer. They will want Deng, Noah, Gibson, and a pick. DO IT!

  • George Brown

nope the smart move would be Boozer and Jimmy Butler and if it gets tough throw in asik that would be the smart move

  • Jun Magat

    Noah, Taj and Butler!

The trading of Deng, Boozer and Noah would never work since that is about 30 million in annual cap space being shipped to Orlando. The Magic would not want to be saddled with that big of an investment for 3-4 more years. It would have to be two of those players to offset Howard’s twenty million per and Butler. I guess the Bulls would throw in two first round picks even if they are nearly worthless as they’d be between 26-30th overall each year.

I would be surprised if this trade would not be structured similarly to Paul’s in that Howard would have to sign at least a one year extension for it to be approved by the Bulls.

Deng and Noah are the prime candidates even if the Bulls would try to unload Boozer to give Taj more time. Deng has the most value for the Bulls since Noah is a center and would probably be worse and PF and they have Taj already. Brewer could step up though.
