Shots Fired At Police Serving Warrant In West Englewood

CHICAGO (CBS) — Someone fired shots at police officers Friday afternoon as they tried to serve a warrant in the West Englewood neighborhood.

Police told CBS 2 officers were serving a warrant in a house in the 7300 block of South Wood Street, when someone inside the house started firing gunshots.

The officers were not hurt, and the offender was arrested, police said.

It was not clear if the officers returned fire.
