(CBS) The Blackhawks placed defenseman Steve Montador on injured reserve Friday and recalled Dylan Olsen from Rockford.
Olsen is expected to be available tonight in San Jose as the Blackhawks take on the Sharks.
Montador suffered an upper body injury Tuesday in Colorado and has not practiced since.
Olsen made his NHL debut Jan. 5 and registered four shots on goal, five hits and a blocked shot in two games. The defenseman has four goals, three assists and 44 penalty minutes in 44 games with Rockford this season.
