Blackhawks Rally Past Blues For 3rd Straight Win

CHICAGO (AP) — Dave Bolland scored the go-ahead goal in the third period when his centering attempt hit the stick of St. Louis’ David Backes and went in and the Chicago Blackhawks rallied to beat the Blues 3-1 Sunday for their third straight victory.

Corey Crawford made 29 saves for the Blackhawks, who did all their scoring in the final period.

Duncan Keith had the tying goal in the third for Chicago, playing its first home game since Jan. 24. Andy McDonald scored in the first for the Blues, who took the 1-0 lead into the final period behind a tough defense and the goaltending of Brian Elliott, who was going for his second straight shutout.

Marian Hossa added an empty netter with 49 seconds to go for Chicago.

I, certainly, could have done without Scott’s clown antics at the end of the game. They need him on the ice, not serving a suspension for some meaningless punches.

Otherwise, this game lived up to everything it was supposed to be. Elliot didn’t give up the game (and, Crawford held his own).
The winner had to earn this one.

His antics against that punk Dorsett were priceless!!!! Next time the Blues had better keep their heads up, that cheap shot punch to the back of Scott’s head AFTER he was down deserves to be dealt with !!!
