Teen Shot And Killed In Marquette Park

WAUKEGAN, Ill. (STMW) — A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed Thursday afternoon in the Southwest Side Marquette Park neighborhood.

The boy — identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office as Joshua Williams — was shot in the head in the 2600 block of West Lithuanian Plaza Court about 4:15 p.m. after arguing with two other males, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien said. The two suspects fled on foot.

Williams, who lived in the 7000 block of South Talman Avenue, was dead at the scene, according to the medical examiner’s office.
