INDIANAPOLIS (CBS) — Wisconsin senior guard Rob Wilson has always had a lot of talent, but for various reasons, he’s never been able to consistently crack Bo Ryan’s rotation.
In the last month, Wilson has emerged as a reliable option and at the Big Ten quarterfinals Friday, he singlehandedly put the Badgers on his back en route to a 79-71 win over the Indiana Hoosiers. Wilson scored 30 points while hitting 11-of-16 shots, including 7-of-10 threes.
After the game, he told teammate Jordan Taylor, “I don’t know the last time I took 16 shots.”
