CHICAGO (CBS) — Three people, including two Chicago Police officers, were injured overnight when a police wagon crashed in the South Side’s Auburn-Gresham neighborhood.

The crash happened just before 10 p.m. Tuesday near 80th and Halsted streets. The wagon hit another car, flipped over, and nearly broke apart.

Two officers were reported in serious critical condition when they were taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County, the Sun-Times Media Wire reported.

Another person in the other car was also hurt in the crash, and was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers in Evergreen Park, the wire reported. The Fire Department said that person was in stable condition.

So far, no tickets have been issued.
