CHICAGO (CBS) — A body was found in Lake Michigan about 30 feet from shore Monday afternoon on the Near North Side.
Firefighters and police officers were called to the area near the 1400 block of North Lake Shore Drive about 11:30 a.m., according to Fire Media Affairs.
The police Marine Unit recovered the body and police are investigating the incident.
According to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office, the body was of an unidentified female.
