You can’t deny Tim Tebow’s excitement. The young quarterback is arguably one of the most excited and positive quarterback in the NFL.

During his introductory press conference in New York on Monday, Tebow said the word “excited” 44 times.

I’d be excited too if all I had to do to get a good contract was to make a shameless show of piety toward a god. In my work, I have to produce and wouldn’t get away with such rude an impolite behavior, such as praying openly when work needs to get done. I’ll bet Tebow is excited. The world gives him a pass for being a big jerk and he is awarded kudos that most of us would be denied if we behaved the way he does.

big jerk? wow, of all the players in the NFL whom are truly “big jerks”, you label him one. “behaved the way he does”—?…your hatred for religion and probably republicans is showing—such a shame you have hate in your heart for anyone or anything. What exactly is the type of work you do that you keep citing? I pray (literally) it is not helping other human beings.

Please also pass along your condemnation for the Prayer circle jerks a majority of Black Players hold after each game–afterall, they’re “praying openly” too…or is going after Blacks not part of your PC hate in your heart?

I don’t hate him. I don’t like any sort of pretense of piety toward a god. It just isn’t something that I trust.

I think that Tebow is a jerk. It isn’t any more complicated than that. And, I am of an age when religious displays in public were considered impolite. I don’t agree with this new religion in your face attitude in the US culture. I am not complaining, just sharing my thoughts about what is appropriate.
