I know it has been said,
    “CRIME IS DOWN IN CHICAGO”.

When will those jerks admit that there is a HUGE problem?

Immediate jail time, drastic problems need drastic measures.

    Alvarez must go!

    • Makes Me Sick

Just weeks ago, McCarthy was on this tv station boasting how he’s nearly eliminated crime in Chicago using a book from some clown in New York. He compared a week in 2011 with lots of shootings and lots of murders to a calm week in 2012 and said “see, our strategy is working, now all we need to do is ban guns statewide.”

Rahm & McCarthy want the carnage to continue to help them pass statewide gun bans. That’s all they care about. They have a “whatever it takes to ban guns mentality” instead of lets do something about what’s happening now strategy.

When you step foot in Chicago, you don’t know if you’ll be going home and if you live in Chicago, you don’t know if you’ll see tomorrow!!!!!!! Where’s the difference from living in Lebanon, Iraq or Afganistan?

  • Hal

This is rediculouce–I do not remember anything like this when Jodie Weise was commanding the CPD–he had an iron hand and it worked to stop shootings and killings etc—Rohm brings in this idiot that lets the randk and file dictate their way of doing things and its not working

Hey Top Cop and Rahm: We’re still waiting for the reinforcements from the Feds. You and yours obviously can’t handle the gang bangers.

  • chicago’s own

    Bring in the national guards.

  • Whiskey…Tango…Foxtrot

What I find so funny about all these shooting is that the Socialist state of Illinois and the city of Chicago in particular has some of the strictest gun laws in America. Maybe it’s time to stop prosecuting honest gun owners and start going after the criminals.

  • North side

The city, cook, and state officials are the one breaking the gun control laws.why,is so easy for criminals to obtain guns and it’s hard for law abiding citizens to obtain guns.time for elected officials to put their proper heads in use, insteads of using their lower heads.happy easter to all and let’s be safe.

  • Diversity is Our Strength

    Let’s get serious about gangs.

  • Diversity is Our Strength

      • Diversity is Our Strength

        Hey Ape,

Ever heard of sarcasm? Someone praising diversity in a comment on diversity maygem is most likely ridiculing this ridiculous leftist notion.

  • Tom

For the past 3 weeks the numbers reported first thing Sunday morning have been pretty consistant.4 or 5 and the mid-teens. Anyone have any thoughts on this observation?

    • WetNurse

      • WetNurse

    • THEE Yard Ape

Good point bowhunter. I have to wonder if the tribesmen would be more accurate throwing spears?? Or has that dna been bred out of the american negro??

  • joan l mcgrath

The gun laws are strict in illinois , it is not the legal owners of guns that do the killing , it is the illegal guns that are getting everyone killed or injured, i keep hearing the crime in il. has gone down , it does not look like it , everyday i hear more people are shot at, either dead or seriously hurt , .this is a sad state when people cannot enjoy their homes nor walk the streets for fear of serious injuries by some clown shooting at random..

  • Tom

TYA and Leroy-Hadn’t see anything from you guys for a few days. I thought you may have been censored for good.

  • G-Lep
