Man Shot Dead On West Side
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot to death in his home in the West Side Austin neighborhood early Sunday.
The 19-year-old man -- identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office as Brandon Miles -- was shot twice in the back in the 1000 block of North Waller Avenue about 2:50 a.m., police said.
Miles was pronounced dead at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County at 3:35 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
He was standing in front of a window in his living room watching T.V. when he was struck by rounds fired from outside, sources said.
No one is in custody and Area North detectives are investigating.
