4 Held After Police Chase From Englewood To Merrillville

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Four people are in custody after leading Chicago Police on a more than 35-mile chase overnight.

As WBBM Newsradio's Bernie Tafoya reports, the chase began a little after midnight at 59th and Sangamon streets in the Englewood neighborhood.

The chase continued all the way to a ramp from Interstate 65 to 61st Avenue in Merrillville, Ind.

Police say the suspects had been in a stolen car.

They went until they could go no more. Police arrested them after the vehicle ran out of gas.
