Police say around 6 a.m., the man jumped from one building onto the roof of another two-story residential building in the 2400 block of North Ridgeway Avenue, near Altgeld Street.

Afterward, the man threatened to jump off the two-story building, and engaged police in a standoff.

No one was injured, police said.

The police Hostage, Barricade and Terrorism Unit was dispatched to the scene.
