(WSCR) Here is Ken “The Hawk” Harrelson at his finest.

After Jose Quintana was ejected in the fourth inning of today’s White Sox-Rays game for throwing behind Ben Zobrist, Hawk went into a rant that was for the books.

“What are you doing, Wegner?” a furious Hawk screamed. “You’ve got to be kidding me. That is so bad, that is absolutely brutal. That is unbelievable. I’ll tell you what, they have got to start making guys be accountable. That is totally absurd. That just tells you he has — here’s an umpire in the American League knows nothing about the game of baseball. That’s unbelievable.

Hawk also claimed that this was one of the worst calls he’s seen throughout his 53 years in baseball and that home plate umpire Mark Wegner shouldn’t be working in the Major Leagues.
