(WSCR) Michael Jordan led Steve Kerr to three straight NBA Championships, but today on The Dan Patrick Show, Kerr discussed a lesser-known incident with Jordan.

Kerr told Patrick that Jordan had actually punched him in the face during a practice. At first, Kerr explains that he was only joking, but when pressed by Patrick, he explains the full story.

“I disagreed with him one time,” Kerr said with a chuckle. “I think he punched me in the face.

“It was one of the best things that ever happened for me, I needed to stand up and go back at him, I think I earned some respect. But we have a great relationship ever since… you gotta prove it and then once you prove it, you’re fine.”
