From gourmet kitchens to pizzerias with checkered tablecloths, from school lunchrooms to carnie parks, pizza is a staple all over America.

It turns out that most people have at least one slice a week. And the most popular topping isn’t exactly vegetarian-friendly.

Mushrooms come in second, followed by sausage. Anchovies came in dead last.
