(CBS) Gordon Beckham will lead off for the first time in his MLB career as the White Sox take on the Rangers on a sweltering Thursday at U.S. Cellular Field.
Manager Robin Ventura released a new-look lineup a little later than usual Thursday morning, a lineup that includes Kevin Youkilis at first base and Eduardo Escobar at third base. Adam Dunn will get a day off, as will Alejandro De Aza, who fouled a ball off his leg in the bottom of the tenth inning Wednesday night before scoring the game-winning run.
