CHICAGO (CBS) — A 53-year-old woman who lived in a Sheridan Road high-rise condo was killed in a domestic stabbing early Wednesday.

Police found Elle Mills, of 6157 N. Sheridan Rd., dead at the building where she lived, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. Authorities have not specified whether she was found in her unit or elsewhere.

She was stabbed in the chest around 1:50 a.m., police said.

Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office did not have further details about the stabbing, but police said it was domestic in nature.

A man was arrested in connection with the stabbing, and was in police custody Wednesday.

The Sheridan Road address belongs to the El Lago Condominium on the Lake building, a 24-story high-rise dating from 1959 along the lakefront in the Hollywood Beach section of Edgewater.
