Residents of Sauk Village have been told that cancer-causing vinyl chloride is in their water supply. Business owners were told to use alternative sources of water. Water distribution for residents of Sauk Village starts immediately and will be handed out per the following schedule:

WHERE: Ed Paesel Community Center behind Sauk Village Municipal Center on Torrence Road in Sauk Valley.

WHEN:
TODAY ONLY 11-3

After Today
Saturdays and Sundays 10 – 2
Monday and Wednesdays 4 – 8
Tuesday and Thursdays 10 – 2

NO WATER DELIVERY ON FRIDAYS EXCEPT TODAY

Village leaders say the schedule is subject to change at any time but go to saukvillage.org for the latest information or schedule.

Residents must bring proof of residency with them.

There is a maximum of three gallons of water per household per day.

Any family currently receiving powder formula from WIC who would like to receive liquid formula can contact the WIC offices for a voucher.
