Two Men Critically Hurt In West Englewood Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) - Two men are in critical condition after they were shot early Saturday in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

They were in the 6600 block of South Marshfield Avenue about 12:45 a.m. when a male shooter approached and opened fire, police said.

A 32-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were both shot in the back in the attack, police said. The younger man was also shot in the right shoulder.

Both were taken in critical condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, police said. No one is in custody early Saturday.

Area South detectives are investigating.
