Bears Sign Rashied Davis

(WSCR) The Bears have re-signed veteran wide receiver Rashied Davis to a one-year contract.

The team wasted no time in filling the spot left by Devin Thomas, who announced his retirement Sunday.

Davis, who played six previous season in Chicago, spent the 2011 season in Detroit, where he appeared in 11 games.

The 33-year-old wide receiver will also contribute to special teams.
