Bears, Patriots Top Conferences After Madden Simulation

(WSCR) Could the NFL be in line for a Super Bowl XX rematch?

According to a Madden NFL 13 season simulation, it appears so.

After a simulated season, the Bears and Patriots finished atop their conferences with 12-4 records. The Bears and Packers finished with identical records, but the Bears received the nod due to a tie breaker.

In the simulated season, Cutler threw for 4,215 yards with a career-high 36 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. Wide receiver Brandon Marshall caught 80 balls for 1,185 and eight touchdowns. Running back Matt Forte rushed for 1,250 yards and nine touchdowns.
