Over/Unders: Colts-Bears

(WSCR) Check out the over/unders for Week 1 from The McNeil and Spiegel Show.

1)  Tackles for Urlacher

In last year's season opener vs. Atlanta, Urlacher had 10 total tackles (6 solo, 4 assists.)  Last season, he averaged 6.4 tackles per game (102 in 16 games).

The official total, not the Bears inflated team total.

3) Michael Bush carries

Contingent on: effectiveness of the run game, situational scoring, division of work load, field position. Before Forte was injured in the KC game last season, Marion Barber averaged 7.75 carries per game.  It's safe to assume the Bears have more faith in the health and effectiveness of Michael Bush.

 5) Camera shots of Chuck Pagano in the first half

Cutaways to the new Colts coach. Because no one knows who he is or what he looks like.  Not a selling point for the broadcast, but a necessary educational tool.  THIS IS THE HEAD COACH

7.) Cutler to Marshall

In his full two seasons with Jay Cutler in Denver, Brandon Marshall caught 206 passes in 31 games.  That averages out to 6.6 receptions a game.  Cutler will likely be anxious to get the ball to his besty, especially in the home opener. Cutler and Marshall in their first game together (a 2006 loss to Seattle), connected only once - for 71 yards and a TD. In 2009, when his Broncos lost 28-16 to the Colts, Kyle Orton targeted Marshall 28 times.  He had 21 receptions in that game.
