CHICAGO (CBS) — Will Matt Forte see action tonight against the Dallas Cowboys?
Coach Lovie Smith told WBBM Newsradio’s Josh Liss that it will be a game-time decision.
“He’s made a lot of progress,” Smith said. “We’ll get over to the stadium and then decide.”
Forte missed one game with a sprained ankle, but did practice most of last week.
Smith is looking for another strong showing from his defense, to keep the pressure on Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
The Bears defensive line “has been able to put as much pressure on the quarterback as any team in the league,” Smith said. “We’re going to come at him with a lot of guys and hopefully we can keep him in the pocket.”
