(WSCR) The stripping of Lance Armstrong’s seven Tour de France titles may have consequences that affect much more than the sport of cycling.

According to a report, several donors who have given money to Livestrong, Armstrong’s cancer awareness charity, want their money back.

“I was a huge Armstrong fan from 1999 to the time he retired,” Birdsong told CNN. “I would defend him from anyone. … “The whole thing is founded on a lie. The guy cheated, and he forced other people to cheat. I would like my money back. We donated under false pretenses.”
