CHICAGO (STMW) – A man was robbed and shot Thursday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
He was shot in the foot during a narcotics-related robbery at 10:10 p.m. in the 300 block of South Whipple Street, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
An acquaintance drove the 21-year-old man to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in an unidentified condition.
No one is in custody and Area North detectives are investigating.
